| OFFICIAL RULES of The Healing Today Show Giveaway |
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
Eligibility: The Healing Today Show's Giveaway ("Promotion") is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., at least 21 years of age or of legal age of majority in their state of residence (whichever is greater) at time of entry. Employees of Christendom, Inc. ("Sponsor"), and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising, marketing and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate family (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or those persons living in the same households of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter, or win. Void where prohibited. Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and shall be governed in accordance with California law.
Promotion Period: Promotion begins at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time ("EST") on August 10, 2009 and ends at 8:59 AM EST on October 29, 2009 ("Promotion Period"). The Promotion consists of a weekly sweepstakes ("Weekly Sweepstakes"), which will take place from 9:00 AM EST on August 10, 2009 to 8:59 AM EST on October 1, 2009 ("Weekly Sweepstakes Period"). For the purposes of this Promotion, (i) a week begins on Monday and ends on the following Friday; and (ii) a weekday is defined as the 24-hour period starting at 9:00 AM EST and ending at 8:59 AM EST the following weekday.
To Participate: To participate in the Promotion, watch The Healing Today Show (the "Show") (the initial broadcast or re-running of such initial broadcast on the same week of said initial broadcast) during the Promotion Period airing times, watch for the question of the week ("Question of the Week"). Check your local listings for viewing times and stations. Then, call our toll free number (1.888.323.2899) and follow the instructions provided to register and answer that day's correct question of the week to participate in the Promotion. Registration is free. By calling and leaving your correct response and message, you agree to the Website's Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and rules and regulations of The Healing Today Show’s Giveaway, all of which are available at the Website. You will need to watch the show in order to get the answer to the question of the week. All materials submitted in connection with this Promotion will become property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
General Conditions: By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Promotion; (b) that California courts have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to the Promotion and that venue shall only be California without regard to choice of law rules; and (c) to the use of his/her name, voice, performance, photograph/video, image and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its affiliates, prize providers and designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from entrant or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so. By participating, entrant also agrees not to release any publicity or other materials on their own or through someone else regarding their participation in the Promotion without the prior consent of the Sponsor, which it may withhold in its sole discretion. By participating, entrants represent and warrant that they are not participating in the Promotion in the capacity of a reporter and further represent and warrant that they will not write, blog about, publish or cause to be published any article or book about their participation therein.
Winner Documentation and Notification: Potential Prize winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Rules and Regulation Acknowledgment, Liability Release and, unless prohibited by law, a Publicity Release within a time period specified by Sponsor. Potential Weekly Prize winners will be notified by mail, telephone and/or email and will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, Rules and Regulation Acknowledgment and, unless prohibited by law, a Publicity Release within five (5) days of date of notification. All prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. If any potential winner is at least 21 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein.
General: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising, marketing and promotion agencies, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") against any and all claims and liability, including injuries, losses or damage of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, use, misuse or redemption of a prize (including any travel/activity related thereto and/or any injury or harm. Released Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware or software, or telephone problems or malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network server, Internet service provider, cable, satellite website, or other connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, lost, stolen, misdirected, mutilated, undelivered jumbled, scrambled, garbled or delayed instant win and/or sweepstakes entries; or other electronic communications; or for any errors, problems or malfunctions of any kind whether caused by computer, network, technical, mechanical, printing, typographical, seeding or human error, or otherwise, relating to or in connection with this Promotion, including, without limitation, errors, problems or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the selection, announcement or administration of the Question of the Week regarding the announcement of the prizes or in any Promotion-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH ENTRANT AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. If due to a computer, network, seeding, technical, mechanical, human, programming or other error, more prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded, Sponsor reserves the right to award the stated prize(s) for the week(s) at issue in a random drawing from among all valid prize claims received for such prize(s). In no event will Sponsor be liable for more than the stated number of prizes. If, in the Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the Promotion, or if virus, bugs non-authorized human intervention, technical difficulties or other causes compromise the integrity, administration or conduct of the Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect sweepstakes entries and to modify or terminate the Promotion (or portion thereof), and if terminated, at its sole discretion, to conduct random drawings for the drawing(s) at issue to award the applicable Weekly Prize(s) using all non-suspect, eligible entries received for the applicable drawing(s) as of date of termination in a manner deemed reasonable by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
